Let’s Rock Elmo Review

As one of the user of Let’s Rock Elmo myself, this is one of the best toy that I ever recommend to you. My children play with it almost everyday. Here I tell you why I love this Elmo toy :

• Elmo knows exactly what Instrument he is given and will respond to it and interact with me in a way I have never seen before.  As soon as I turn Elmo on he will start to interact with us, add his drums (that comes supplied) and he will thank you for giving it to him and then he will start playing the drums and start singing.
• I also then give Elmo the microphone which he can hold and he will burst into song in his own cute way!  A tambourine is also included which he can also hold whilst singing into the microphone…just wait until you hear Elmo singing his version of ‘It Takes Two’, it melts my heart.

Let’s Rock Elmo

Let’s Rock Elmo is the most highly interactive Elmo ever created! Elmo talks, sings, and plays music with your child. The toy features six rockin’, bad to the bone songs to entertain your kids for hours on end. Lets Rock Elmo features three different modes of play. First, Elmo can play his included instruments (microphone, tambourine, or drums) for your child.  Second, kids can play with Elmo’s instruments. And, finally, children can choose to play with Let’s Rock Instruments (sold separately).
Elmo takes 6 AA batteries, these are included but I would advise to stock up and buy more, as the batteries supplied never seen to last very long.

I took this toy to my grandson’s pre-school and the kids just loved it! They could not get enough of this toy! The movements of Elmo is great and the kids would start mimicking his movements and start dancing to the songs he played. A couple of the toddlers played along with him with the instruments too. I thought the kids would tire of Elmo after a while, but no, the kids were upset when I put him up for a rest as he was going at 30 minutes strong with the kids. After their naps they wanted to play with Elmo again. I couldn’t believe how much the kids related to Elmo and his songs and actions. I had planned on just having Elmo visit for the day, but landed up leaving him all week and some of the other parents were asking where they could buy Elmo for Christmas. Of course I said Amazon! It’s a great toy, it keeps the kid’s interest, develops hand, eye coordination as they try to mimic his movement and they sing along with Elmo.

The newest Sesame Street “Let’s Rock Elmo” toy is a welcome surprise for my three year old who absolutely adores Elmo. He is such a big part of her life and many children around her age. This new Elmo toy will guarantee hours of fun for any child and some adults(I know I had fun) and it will also help with their developmental and motor skills while giving them the gift of music all combined in one toy. Elmo seems to really be interacting with your child as well as the instruments as he jams to the music throwing his head back with glee.
Elmo is interactive and recognizes the different instruments from the tambourine to the bongos, but there are also other instruments like the “Let’s rock Elmo guitar” and the “Let’s rock keyboard”(sold separately) the Rock Elmo will recognize when you play them and he will join in with you. Elmo plays six songs that you are sure to have fun with and enjoy. I will buy the other instruments for her to help enhance her love of music or maybe it’s just her love for Elmo.
All of the parts are safe and there are no choking hazards for any small children. Your child will love this toy and so will you.

Of all the Sesame Street characters, Elmo is the closest thing to a real toddler, the target market for this toy. The instruments this Elmo comes with are perfect for an 18 month old, and the bongos and tamborine are SO much fun to pound and shake. The icing on the cake is that Elmo sings along with the instruments, throws back his head and–LAUGHS! What child wouldn’t adore this?

The toddler I’m testing this on is very musical. He loves to sing and dance, and though he’s not a Sesame Street child, he lights up when Lets Rock Elmo is around. He’s not very verbal just yet, but if smiles and grabbing are any indication, he loves this Elmo.
From a practical standpoint, LR Elmo is sturdy, and the removable bongos, tamborine and mike are too big to choke on. All the parts are softish plastic, so the entire toy seems pretty safe. No, this Elmo isn’t cuddly, but I defy anyone of any age to not want to hug him.
